Hallmarking

All precious metals sold in the UK must be hallmarked if over a certain weight.

Many of my designs weigh less than the 7.78g exemption weight for silver so I do not hallmark as standard.

All precious metal items weighing over the exemption weights are hallmarked at The Goldsmiths' Company Assay Office in London.

Hallmarks may be included on bespoke pieces weighing less than the exemption weight if requested during the consultation or design stage.
